St. JOHN by Drake's Tobacco Cotton Games Trousers
These are cotton twill trousers in a tobacco brown, cut as the partner to a matching games blazer so that the two can be worn together as an informal suit. The shape looks back to mid-century trousers, with a high rise that sits above the hip, a full leg and a single pleat, narrowing gently below the knee. Side adjusters, belt loops and a concealed fob pocket give them a practical, workwear character. They are made in Italy from a Japanese cotton and are meant for everyday wear through the year, either with the blazer or on their own.

Di Sondrio Walnut Stretch Chino
We chose a walnut brown cotton twill from Tessuti di Sondrio as the closest match to the tobacco colour and plain twill surface of the original. We set single pleats, belt loops, a zip fly, vertical side seam pockets and dark charcoal horn buttons to follow the original's details. Proper Cloth offers no side adjusters or concealed fob pocket on this style, so we used belt loops alone and a standard coin pocket instead. The cloth has 2% elastane, which is within our tolerance for stretch.
A solid walnut brown cotton twill woven by the Italian mill Tessuti di Sondrio, made of 98% cotton and 2% elastane. It is medium heavyweight, with a smooth, firm hand and a slight stretch, and it is suitable for wear in all four seasons.
