Brown Linen Games Trousers
Drake's Games Trousers take their shape from mid-century sporting and leisure trousers, cut with a high rise that sits above the hip and a full leg that narrows gently below the knee. Single forward pleats give room to move, and side adjusters are added alongside the belt loops so the waist can be worn either way. A concealed fob pocket and an internal French bearer show the tailoring behind a garment meant for casual use. This brown linen version is made in Italy and is meant to be worn alone or with its matching blazer as a relaxed two-piece.

Di Sondrio Walnut Stretch Chino
We chose a walnut brown cotton twill from Tessuti di Sondrio because it comes close to the warm brown and rust tone of the original and keeps a twill face. We set single pleats, a zip fly with button fastening, belt loops, pockets on the side seams, a small coin pocket in place of the fob pocket and a flapped back pocket so the trousers follow the original's layout. Proper Cloth did not offer side adjusters or a linen cloth in this shade, so we kept the belt loops with a button-through tab at the waist and accepted a heavier cotton cloth with a little stretch.
A medium heavyweight twill woven by Tessuti di Sondrio in northern Italy from 98% cotton and 2% elastane, in a plain walnut brown. It has the firm, smooth body of a standard chino cloth with a small amount of give, and is suited to wear across most of the year.
