Tobacco Cotton Linen Games Trousers
Drake's made these trousers as the partner to its Games Blazer, so that the two can be worn together as an informal suit somewhere between tailoring and workwear. The cut follows mid-century lines, with a high rise sitting just above the hip, single pleats and a full leg that narrows gently below the knee. Side adjusters, belt loops and a concealed fob pocket give them a practical character. They are made in Italy from a lightweight cotton and linen cloth intended for wear through most of the year.

Di Sondrio Walnut Stretch Chino
We chose a solid walnut brown cotton twill from Tessuti di Sondrio as the closest match to the original's tobacco colour and twill face. We set single pleats, belt loops, a zip fly with horn buttons and side seam pockets to follow the Drake's layout. Proper Cloth offered no cotton and linen blend in this shade, so we accepted an all-cotton cloth with a small amount of elastane, which is heavier. It also had no side adjusters or concealed fob pocket, so we used belt loops alone and a standard coin pocket in place of the fob.
A medium-heavy cotton twill woven by Tessuti di Sondrio in northern Italy, with 2% elastane for some give. It is a plain warm walnut brown with a smooth, firm hand, made as a four-season chino cloth that holds its shape and wears hard.
