Brown Heavy Cotton Flat Front Chino
Drake's brown chino is a flat-front trouser cut from a heavy Italian cotton twill and made in Portugal. It takes its shape from mid-century work and service trousers, with a high rise that sits above the hip and a full, straight leg. Belt loops and side adjusters are both fitted, so it can be worn with or without a belt, and the waistband is finished inside with a French bearer. It is meant as a plain, hard-wearing everyday trouser.

Di Sondrio Walnut Stretch Chino
We chose a solid walnut brown twill from Tessuti di Sondrio because it is close to the original in colour, weave and plain finish. We kept the details that define the trouser: a flat front, zip fly with a button fastening, belt loops, a single button-through flap back pocket and a plain hem. Proper Cloth offers no side adjusters, so the waist relies on belt loops alone. The nearest brown solid twill in the range has a little elastane, which we accepted as it is under the 4% we allow.
A solid walnut brown cotton twill from Tessuti di Sondrio, an Italian mill, with 2% elastane for a small amount of give. It is a medium heavyweight cloth suited to wear across the seasons, with a smooth face and enough body to hold a crease.
