Navy Moleskin Fatigue Trouser
This is a navy moleskin trouser modelled on vintage military wear, especially the officer's trouser. It has a high waist, a full leg that narrows slightly towards the hem, side adjusters and flapped patch pockets front and back, so its details are practical first. It is cut in Italy from 11.2oz cotton moleskin, a midweight that can be worn for much of the year, and it suits relaxed dressing as well as soft tailoring.

Biella Navy Stretch Moleskin 5-Pocket
We picked a navy moleskin from Proper Cloth because it is close to the original in colour, surface and solid finish. We used the vintage chino block instead of the 5-pocket cut the cloth is sold with, and added fatigue front and back pockets with button-through flaps, a button fly, chestnut horn buttons, belt loops, a flat front and a wide hem to follow the Drake's details. The cloth has a small amount of elastane, which is within what we accept, and the options we chose do not include side adjusters, so the trouser relies on belt loops alone.
A solid navy cotton moleskin from Progetto Uno, an Olympias Group mill near Venice, with 3% elastane for a little give. It is medium-heavy, with a dense, smooth, slightly brushed face, and it is soft and warm to handle while still wearing hard.
