Navy Cotton-Linen Games Trouser
This is the trouser that completes Drake's Games suit, intended to be worn with its matching blazer or on its own. It sits somewhere between tailored trousers and workwear. The cut draws on mid-century trousers, with a high rise, a full thigh and a single pleat, and the leg tapers gently to a plain hem. It is made in Italy from a yarn-dyed cotton and linen twill, and has side adjusters, belt loops and an internal French bearer, so it can be worn with or without a belt.

Navy Linen Palermo Pant
We kept to solid navy and chose a pure linen from Proper Cloth's range, because no cotton-linen twill in a matching navy was available. We set the design as a chino with single pleats, belt loops, a zip fly, side seam pockets, horn buttons and a button-through back pocket flap, to follow the shape and fastenings of the original. Proper Cloth offers no side adjusters or scalloped flap, so we used belt loops only and an angled flap on the back pocket.
A pure linen woven in Portugal in a plain weave at a medium weight, dyed a solid navy. It feels soft from the first wear and has the slub of natural linen on the surface. It creases readily and stays relaxed in hot weather.
