Navy Cotton Corduroy Field Games Trousers
Drake's designed these trousers to pair with its Field Games Blazer, so that the two make a relaxed suit somewhere between tailoring and workwear. The cut follows a mid-century line, with a high rise, a fuller leg, a single forward pleat on each side and a gentle taper to the hem. They are made in Italy from a heavy vintage-style cotton corduroy, with side adjusters, belt loops and a hidden fob pocket. They can be worn with the matching jacket or on their own.

Italian Navy Corduroy 5-Pocket Pant
We chose a heavy Italian cotton corduroy in plain navy because it comes closest to the weight and character of the original cord. We set a single pleat, a button-through waistband tab, a zip fly, belt loops, side seam pockets, a flapped back pocket, brown horn buttons and a plain hem to match the original. Proper Cloth has no side adjusters or concealed fob pocket, so we kept belt loops alone and used its standard coin pocket in place of the fob.
A 100% cotton corduroy woven in Italy, at about 525 g, with a soft, velvety 12-wale face in solid navy. Because there is no stretch in it, the cloth should soften and take on wear marks with use, as an all-cotton cord does.
