Navy Vintage Wash Cotton Games Trousers
Drake's cut these trousers as the partner to its Games Blazer, so that the two can be worn together as a casual suit that sits between tailoring and workwear. The shape looks back to the middle of the last century, with a high rise that sits above the hip, single pleats and a full thigh that narrows gently below the knee. Side adjusters, belt loops and a hidden fob pocket give them a practical, utilitarian character. They are meant for everyday wear in any season, alone or with the matching jacket.

Navy Cadet Chino
We chose a solid navy cotton twill of a similar weight and colour to match the original's plain, hard-wearing chino character. We set single pleats, a high rise with a loose leg, a zip fly, belt loops and a button-through back pocket to follow the Drake's shape. Proper Cloth offered side seam pockets rather than slanted vertical ones and an angled flap back pocket rather than a patch pocket, and no side adjusters were set, so the waist relies on belt loops alone. We picked chestnut horn buttons as the nearest match to the original's dark horn-tone buttons, and a standard coin pocket in place of the concealed fob.
A navy two-ply cotton twill woven in Portugal, at about 9.6oz, in a left-hand weave that drapes a little more softly than a right-hand twill. It is firm and substantial when new, keeps its shape without stretch fibres and softens gradually with washing.
