Navy Mid-Wale Corduroy Single Pleat Trouser
A navy corduroy trouser cut to Drake's mid-rise house pattern, with one forward pleat at each side for ease when seated or walking. The leg narrows gently below the knee to keep the line clean. In place of belt loops it has side adjusters, along with an extended button tab, a split at the back of the waistband and an internal bearer. It is made in Italy, half lined, and is offered both on its own and as part of a matching suit.

Stratton Navy Stretch Corduroy
We chose a solid navy cotton corduroy with a wale close to mid-wale, so that the colour and ridged surface match the original. We kept the single forward pleats, the extended tab with button and zip fly, horn buttons and a split back waistband. Proper Cloth's chino pattern comes with belt loops rather than side adjusters, so the waist is finished with loops, and the stretch content and slightly heavier weight of the cloth come from the corduroy available.
A 13-wale corduroy woven in Spain from 98% cotton and 2% elastane, weighing about 345 g. It has a soft, velvety pile in a deep, dark navy, with a little give from the stretch. It is meant for autumn and winter wear.
