Light Grey Fresco Lite® Single Pleat Trouser
This is Drake's house trouser, made in Italy in a light grey Fresco Lite cloth from a Yorkshire mill. It has a mid-rise, a single reverse pleat and a clean leg with a gentle taper, so it reads as sharp without being slim. Side adjusters replace belt loops, and the extended tab front is backed by a French bearer, which keeps the waist neat. It is half-lined to the knee, has an after-dinner split at the back and is sent out unhemmed so the length can be set for each pair.

Loro Piana Fabric Grey Sopra Visso Fresco Dress Pant
We chose a grey Loro Piana fresco because it has the same open plain weave and crisp, springy hand as the original, in an all-wool solid grey. We kept the single pleat, the extended button tab with zip fly, the vertical side pockets, the dark horn buttons and the lining to the knee. Proper Cloth's specification here uses belt loops rather than side adjusters, so the waist is finished in that more conventional way. The cloth is also heavier than the 8.2oz original.
A Loro Piana Sopra Visso wool from Italy, woven as a plain-weave fresco in a solid grey. At 345 g it is listed as medium heavyweight, so it has more body than a lightweight fresco while keeping the open, dry hand of the weave.
