Brown Linen Drawstring Trousers
Drake's drawstring trousers take the cut of military fatigue trousers and add the easy waist of old athletic wear. They are made in Portugal from a dense Japanese linen with a solid hand and a little give. The drawstring is hidden inside the waistband and comes out at the fly, so the front stays plain, and slanted patch pockets at the hips point back to American workwear. They are intended as relaxed, straight-legged trousers for everyday wear.

Laurel Linen Palermo Pant
We chose a solid Portuguese linen in a faded laurel green, the closest muted earth tone available, but it is a medium-weight plain weave rather than a dense canvas. We set fatigue patch pockets at the front, an elastic waistband with an internal drawstring, a plain front with no pleats or coin pocket, and a relaxed straight leg. Proper Cloth's build calls for a zip fly, square patch pockets at the back and light brown horn buttons, so the closure and trim are a little different from the original's single pale button.
A pure linen plain weave woven in Portugal, of medium weight, with a soft, broken-in hand and the slubby surface typical of linen. It is a solid faded laurel green, breathes well, hangs loosely and creases freely as it is worn.
