Tan Cotton Twill Fatigue Trouser
A fatigue trouser drawn from mid-century military issue, cut in a tan Japanese cotton twill of moderate weight. It keeps the working details of the original pattern, with reinforced patch pockets on the thighs, flapped rear pockets and buckled side adjusters, and sets them on a high-rise, flat-front shape with a full, straight leg. It sits at the natural waist and is meant as a plain, hard-wearing trouser for every season.

Di Sondrio Khaki Heavyweight Heirloom Chino
We chose a solid khaki cotton twill from Tessuti di Sondrio, the nearest Proper Cloth offers to the tan colour and plain twill face of the original, though it is a good deal heavier. We set the vintage chino cut with a high rise and loose leg, flat front, fatigue-style front and rear pockets, button fly, belt loops and brown horn buttons to follow the Drake's details. Proper Cloth's build has no side adjusters, so the waist relies on belt loops alone.
An Italian cotton twill woven by Tessuti di Sondrio in a dense three-ply construction, very heavy at around 535 g, with a smooth, close finish. It is a plain khaki solid and is made to be hard-wearing over many years.
