Stone Wash Selvedge Denim Naval Pant
The Naval Pant takes its cue from the practical working trousers of traditional naval service dress, recast as an everyday denim trouser. It is cut straight and clean through the leg, with slanted patch pockets at the front and reinforced pockets behind. Brass hardware is set against tonal stitching so that the military reference stays restrained. It is made in Portugal and suits casual wear, with the hem worn plain or turned up.

Dean Stretch Vintage Straight Jean in Salt Wash Japanese Denim
We chose a mid-wash Japanese indigo denim to come close to the faded blue of the stone-washed original, and set a straight leg with a button fly, metal buttons, belt loops and a flat front. Fatigue-style patch pockets at the front stand in for Drake's slanted patch pockets. Proper Cloth offered no cotton-linen selvedge denim in this style, so we used a cotton denim with a small amount of elastane, and its square back pockets in place of the angled ones. We left out the coin pocket.
A 12oz Japanese denim from Nihon Menpu, woven from cotton with 2% elastane for a little give, in a medium indigo wash with a worn-in look. It is a solid indigo that will fade at the pockets and waistband as it wears.
