Charcoal Tropical Wool Single Pleat Trouser
Drake's single-pleat trouser follows the house's mid-rise pattern and is cut here in a charcoal high-twist tropical merino. The pleat gives room through the seat and thigh, and the leg narrows gently below the knee to a clean line. The waistband draws on tailoring tradition, with an extended tab, side adjusters in place of belt loops, an internal French bearer and a curtained interior. Made in Italy and half lined, it is intended for wear through the year, on its own or as part of a suit.

Loro Piana Fabric Grey Melange Tropical Wool Dress Pant
We chose a Loro Piana tropical wool because it comes closest to the original's smooth, breathable high-twist cloth, though in a lighter grey melange rather than solid charcoal. We matched the single pleats, the extended button tab, the side seam pockets and the plain uncuffed hem, and used dark grey horn buttons in place of the horn-tone original. The design as made has belt loops rather than side adjusters, and a striped knee lining in place of a half lining.
A Loro Piana Zelander Dream tropical wool in 100% wool, woven so finely that the open structure is hard to see even up close. It is very smooth with almost no surface texture, and it is a cool grey with mild melange variation. It breathes well in warm weather and suits both business and more relaxed wear.
