Ecru Cotton Canvas Carpenter Jeans
Drake's carpenter jeans are cut from organic cotton canvas in a pale ecru and made in Portugal. They follow the American carpenter's work trouser, with a double knee, a cinch strap at the back, copper rivets and a utility pocket on the thigh. The rise is middling and the leg slim and straight, so they can be worn in place of denim with most casual clothes.

Natural Undyed Canvas 5-Pocket Pant
We chose an undyed, unfinished cotton canvas in a natural ecru because colour, texture and rigidity were the things that most defined the original. We kept the straight leg, belt loops, metal waist button, coin pocket and patch rear pockets. Proper Cloth does not offer a double knee, cinch back or carpenter's thigh pocket, so we made a plain five-pocket jean in its high-rise straight fit with a chain-stitched hem.
A 12oz all-cotton canvas woven in Portugal, left undyed and untreated, in a warm natural ecru close to unbleached sailcloth. Its plain weave has no stretch and no finish, so it starts out firm and full-bodied and softens with wear and washing. The listing gives part of the cotton as recycled.
