ALD / Drake's Wool Flannel Games Trouser
This trouser comes from a capsule collection Drake's made with Aimé Leon Dore, which brings the London house's relaxed tailoring together with the New York label's sensibility. It was cut as a partner to the club blazer and sits somewhere between a tailored trouser and a work trouser. The high rise, full leg and gentle taper give it a mid-century shape, while side adjusters and a concealed fob pocket add a practical note. In heavy charcoal flannel, it is meant to be worn often and in most seasons.

VBC Charcoal Wool Flannel Dress Pant
We chose a charcoal merino flannel from Vitale Barberis Canonico because it comes closest to the colour, brushed surface and solid look of the original. We kept the plain hem, belt loops, zip fly, dark horn buttons and a small extra pocket at the waist. Proper Cloth's version is a dress trouser with a single pleat and side seam pockets. The design as made has belt loops and a button tab, but side adjusters like those on the original are not listed.
A solid charcoal flannel woven from merino wool by Vitale Barberis Canonico in Biella, Italy, at 340 g. It has a brushed, soft surface and a smooth hand, and is best suited to autumn and winter.
