Grey Worsted Wool Flat Front Trouser
This is Drake's mid-rise house trouser in charcoal worsted merino, cut flat across the front for a slimmer line, with a gentle taper below the knee. It is made in Italy and takes its finishing from classic tailoring: an extended tab front, a curtained waistband with an internal French bearer, a prong keeper for the belt buckle and an after-dinner split at the back of the waist. It is half lined and sent out with unfinished hems so the length can be set by a tailor. The intention is a plain, neat trouser that can be worn all year with tailoring or knitwear.

Charcoal Wool Dress Pant
We chose a charcoal S110s merino twill from Dino Filarte because it matches the original's colour, solid face, worsted twill construction and middle weight. We kept the flat front, belt loops, extended button tab, zip fly, side seam pockets and dark grey horn buttons to follow Drake's details. Proper Cloth's configuration had no curtained waistband, French bearer, prong keeper or after-dinner split, so the trouser was made without them. It also has a knee lining where the original is half lined, plus a coin pocket and a finished hem with no turn-up.
The cloth is an S110s merino wool twill from Dino Filarte, woven in China and weighing about 270 grams. It has a smooth finish and a fine sharkskin texture, so the dark grey reads as solid but varies slightly up close. The weight suits wear across most of the year.
