Brown Moleskin Games Trouser
A pleated moleskin trouser cut to accompany a matching blazer, the pair sitting somewhere between tailoring and workwear. The shape looks back to the middle of the last century, with a high rise that sits just above the hip and a full leg that narrows a little below the knee. Side adjusters, belt loops and a concealed fob pocket keep a practical character. It is made in Italy from Japanese cotton moleskin and can be worn on its own or with the jacket as an informal two-piece.

Olimpias Brown Stretch Moleskin 5-Pocket
We chose a brushed brown cotton moleskin from an Italian mill because it comes close to the original's colour and soft, napped surface, though it is a little lighter and carries a small amount of stretch. We set the pattern as a chino with single pleats, belt loops, a zip fly, side seam pockets and a flapped back pocket to follow the original's layout, and kept khaki pocketing to echo its tan interior. Proper Cloth's options did not include the original's waist arrangement, so we used belt loops with a buttoned waistband tab in place of side adjusters, and a standard coin pocket stands in for the fob pocket.
A brown moleskin from the Italian Olimpias Group, woven densely in cotton with 3% elastane and brushed to give a soft, suede-like face. It is a medium heavyweight cloth, warm and hard-wearing, with a little give from the stretch.
