Black Cotton-Linen Games Trouser
Drake's made this trouser as the partner to its Games Blazer. Worn with the jacket it forms a loose two-piece suit that sits somewhere between tailoring and workwear. The cut follows mid-century lines: a high rise sitting just above the hip, a full leg with single pleats for ease of movement, and a slight taper below the knee. Side adjusters and a hidden fob pocket give it a practical, utilitarian character, and it can be worn on its own or as part of the suit through the year.

Di Sondrio Black Stretch Chino
The original is a heavy black cotton-linen twill, so we chose a solid black cotton twill of similar substance from Tessuti di Sondrio, which keeps the dark, plain, sturdy look. We matched the single pleats, belt loops, zip fly, dark horn buttons and plain finished hem. Proper Cloth offers no side adjusters, concealed fob pocket or besom back pocket with button flap, so we used belt loops alone, a standard coin pocket and an angled flap back pocket, and set a button-through tab at the waistband to stand in for the extended closure.
A solid black cotton twill from Tessuti di Sondrio, an Italian mill with more than a century of weaving behind it, made with 2% elastane for a little give. It is medium heavyweight with a smooth, firm hand and sturdy structure, and it is meant for wear in every season.
