Ecru Cotton-Linen Games Trouser
This games trouser is made as the companion to a matching games blazer, so the two can be worn as a relaxed suit that falls somewhere between tailoring and workwear. Its high rise and fuller leg draw on mid-century trousers. A single pleat and a gentle taper give it room to move while keeping the line neat. It can be worn with the jacket or on its own with knitwear or a casual shirt.

Japanese Bone Herringbone Fatigue Pant
We chose a faded bone herringbone cotton from Japan because its pale, slightly warm colour is close to ecru and its broken twill surface has some of the texture of the original's yarn-dyed cloth. We cut it to the vintage chino pattern with a single pleat, a zip fly, belt loops, side seam pockets and light brown horn buttons to match the original's details. Proper Cloth offers no cotton-linen twill in this colour for the pattern, so the version is all cotton. We kept belt loops but could not add side adjusters, and we used a standard finished hem in place of the original's unfinished one.
A 100% cotton herringbone twill woven in Japan, in a faded bone shade, weighing about 350 g. It is a medium-heavy cloth with a visible chevron texture and a firm, casual hand, and it should soften and fade gently with washing and wear.
