Ecru Herringbone Twill Cotton Games Trouser
The Games Trouser is a pleated cotton trouser cut in Italy from a Japanese herringbone twill. The cloth takes its cue from a herringbone used by the US military in the 1940s, and the cut follows a mid-century line: a high waist that sits just above the hip, a full leg and a gentle taper below the knee. Side adjusters, belt loops and a hidden fob pocket give it a practical, utilitarian character. It is made to be worn on its own or with the matching jacket as a relaxed two-piece.

Japanese Bone Herringbone Fatigue Pant
We chose a Japanese herringbone cotton twill in a faded bone shade, since it comes closest to the ecru colour, the fine chevron texture and the military origins of the original cloth. We set single pleats, side seam pockets, a zip fly, belt loops and light brown horn buttons to match the Drake's trouser. Proper Cloth does not offer the original's side adjusters or concealed fob pocket on this design, so we used a button-through tab at the waist, an angled flap back pocket and a standard coin pocket.
A 100% cotton herringbone twill woven in Japan, in a faded bone colour with a clear chevron texture. At about 350 g it is a medium heavyweight cloth with a firm, casual hand, and it should soften with washing and wear.
