Ecru Cotton Flat Front Chino
A flat-front chino cut in a substantial Italian cotton twill and finished in a pale ecru. It takes its shape from mid-century trousers, with a high rise that sits just above the hip and a full leg that tapers gently below the knee. Side adjusters alongside the belt loops give it a utilitarian touch. The trouser is made in Portugal and intended for wear in every season, washing and softening with use.

Japanese Bone Herringbone Fatigue Pant
We chose a Japanese cotton herringbone in a faded bone shade because it is the nearest match to the original's pale, warm off-white and solid twill cloth at a similar substantial weight. We set the trouser as a vintage chino with no pleats, a zip fly, belt loops and mid-brown horn buttons to follow the original's plain front and fastenings. Proper Cloth's back pocket comes as an angled flap with a buttonhole, so we used that in place of the original's button-flap patch pocket. The design as made has no side adjusters.
A 100% cotton herringbone twill woven in Japan, at 350 g a medium-heavy cloth with a dry, textured hand. It is a faded bone colour, an off-white with a little warmth, and its fine herringbone gives the solid shade some surface depth. It is a casual trouser cloth that should soften with washing and wear.
