Black Seersucker Games Trousers
These are pleated cotton trousers in a black seersucker, cut to a mid-century line with a high rise that sits just above the hip and a full leg that narrows gently below the knee. Side adjusters, a concealed fob pocket and a reinforced French bearer at the waist give them a practical, workmanlike character. The lightweight cloth comes from a long-established mill near Milan, and the trousers are made in Italy. They can be worn alone or with the matching jacket as an informal two-piece suit.

Black Linen Palermo Drawstring Pant
We could not find a black seersucker, so we chose a black plain-weave linen from Portugal. It keeps the dark colour and the loose, textured feel suited to warm weather, but it has no puckered stripe. We built the trousers on a chino base, with single pleats, belt loops, a zip fly, pockets on the side seams and a flap back pocket that buttons through, to stay close to the original's construction. Proper Cloth offers no side adjusters or concealed fob pocket, so we used belt loops alone and a standard coin pocket, with charcoal horn buttons in place of black ones.
A solid black linen in a plain weave, woven in Portugal and listed as medium weight. It is soft to the hand from the start, shows the natural slub of the linen and creases readily as it is worn, which gives it a relaxed look.
