Stone Cotton Drill Flat Front Trouser
A flat-front cotton trouser cut to Drake's mid-rise house pattern, with a slimmer leg that narrows gently below the knee. It takes the construction of tailored trousers, with a half lining, an extended tab front, an internal French bearer and a curtained waistband, and applies it to a plain stone drill. It is intended for wear in every season, either as separate trousers or with the matching jacket as a suit, and it is made in Italy.

Di Sondrio Beige Heavyweight Heirloom Chino
We chose a solid beige Italian cotton twill to match the stone colour and the plain, hard-wearing surface of the drill. We set the design to a flat front with a buttoned extended tab, belt loops, a zip fly and mid brown horn buttons, which follow the original's waist and closure. Proper Cloth's cloth for this colour is far heavier than a midweight drill, so we accepted the extra weight. Its trousers are also finished with a blind hem rather than left unhemmed.
A very heavy 100% cotton chino cloth from Tessuti di Sondrio in Italy, at around 535 g. It is a dense three-ply twill in plain beige with a smooth finish. It holds its shape and is built to last a long time, and it sits better with substantial knitwear and boots than with light summer clothes.
