White Pinpoint Oxford Cotton Cloth Button-Down Shirt
Drake's button-down in white pinpoint oxford is a plain cotton shirt in the long tradition of the American oxford button-down. Pinpoint is the finer, lighter member of the oxford family, softer and slightly more lustrous than the standard cloth. The shirt is made in the company's Somerset factory with a regular cut, a box pleat, single-needle seams and a collar built to roll softly at the points. It sits comfortably under a tailored jacket and is equally at home worn on its own.

Thomas Mason White Pinpoint
We chose a white pinpoint from Thomas Mason, a solid 100% cotton cloth at a similar light weight, to match the colour and smooth surface of the original. We set a soft Ivy button-down collar, a soft front placket, a one-button cuff, a chest pocket, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons to follow the Drake's details. Proper Cloth's options led us to an angled pocket, a split yoke and a barrel cuff, and the box pleat, contrast stitching and whipped buttons of the original are not part of this specification.
A white pinpoint oxford from the Thomas Mason mill, woven in two-ply 80s cotton. It is light enough to stay cool in warm weather yet has enough body to wear well, and it softens and drapes more easily with repeated washing.
