St. JOHN by Drake's White Oxford Cloth Button-Down Shirt
The St. JOHN by Drake's oxford button-down is a white cotton shirt built around the soft, rolling collar that has defined the style for about a hundred years. Drake's makes it in its own factory in Somerset, with floating brushed interlinings, single-needle seams and a regular cut. This limited edition adds a small monogram embroidered low on the left front, over the stomach. It works with a tie and jacket and also worn open at the neck with casual clothes.

Clark White Oxford Cloth
We chose a white Pima cotton oxford because it comes closest to the original's cloth and plain colour, although it is heavier than Drake's midweight oxford. We set a soft Ivy button-down collar and a soft front placket to match the rolled collar and placket front, and used a chest patch pocket, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth offers no rounded single cuff and no monogram, so the version has a soft one-button barrel cuff and no embroidery. It also has a split yoke and an angled pocket.
A solid white oxford woven from Pima cotton in a 40/1 by 21/2 construction, which gives a heavier, more substantial cloth that is still not thick. It holds up well to regular wear and softens with repeated washing.
