White Linen Two-Pocket Long Point Collar Work Shirt
Drake's two-pocket work shirt takes the plain utility shirt and makes it in a white Japanese linen of 6.1oz. It is cut on the house's casual block, with a long point collar, twin flap chest pockets, single-button cuffs and a curved hem. It is sewn with single-needle seams in Somerset, England, and finished with mother of pearl buttons. The shirt is meant to be worn loosely, either tucked or left out, for work or for the weekend.

Baird McNutt White Irish Linen
We chose a lightweight white Irish linen from Baird McNutt because it matches the original in fibre, colour and plain, slightly irregular surface. We gave it a soft point collar, one-button barrel cuffs, a front placket, two flap chest pockets, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons, which keeps it close to the original's details. Proper Cloth offers no plain flap patch pocket like Drake's, so we used its safari pocket, which also has a flap. It was also made with a split yoke and 0.2 inch stitching rather than single-needle seams.
This is a lightweight plain-weave linen in bright white, woven and finished by Baird McNutt in Northern Ireland and spun from 26s yarn. It is soft, with the slubby, uneven texture typical of linen. It breathes well in heat and creases readily as it is worn.
