White Cotton-Linen Seersucker Camp Collar Short Sleeve Shirt
Drake's short-sleeved camp collar shirt belongs to a long line of warm-weather holiday shirts that have gone by many names, all built on the same simple formula of an open collar, short sleeves and a square hem. This version is cut loose with a plain front and a straight hemline, and made in a soft cotton-linen seersucker for high summer. It is intended to be worn untucked and open at the neck in hot weather. The shirt is made in Somerset.

Madaket White Solid Seersucker
We chose a white solid seersucker so that the puckered texture and clean colour of the original carry over directly. We set a soft one-piece collar as the nearest equivalent to the open, notched camp collar, and matched the short sleeves, plain French front, single patch chest pocket, straight hem and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth's seersucker is all cotton rather than a cotton-linen blend, and seersucker there can only be made with soft, unfused collars, which suits the relaxed character of the shirt.
Proper Cloth's Madaket is a lightweight seersucker woven from 40s cotton yarns in plain white. Its puckered stripes hold the cloth slightly away from the skin, letting air move beneath the shirt, and the texture is meant to look relaxed rather than pressed.
