White Long Point Collar Flap Pocket Poplin Shirt
A plain white poplin shirt made in Italy, built around a long point collar with a floating interlining that lets it sit softly instead of stiffly. The design draws on the traditional dress shirt and adds a single chest pocket with an inverted pleat and a rounded buttoned flap, which gives it a slightly more relaxed note. The cut is regular, the seams are sewn with a single needle, and the cloth is light and smooth with a slight sheen. It works with tailoring during the week and can be worn on its own at weekends.

Thomas Mason White Luxury Broadcloth
We chose a white two-ply cotton broadcloth from Thomas Mason because broadcloth is essentially the same plain, tightly woven cloth sold as poplin in Britain, and it has the same smooth face and light weight. We kept the solid white, the single buttoned flap pocket, the one-button cuff, the front placket and mother of pearl buttons, and we used a soft, unstructured collar and cuff to come closer to the floating interlining. Proper Cloth's collar choices gave us a soft point rather than the original's longer point, and the design as made adds a split yoke and a shallow curved hem, which Drake's does not specify.
A white broadcloth woven by Thomas Mason from Egyptian cotton in 120s two-ply yarns. It is very light, with a fine, silky, smooth hand. Because the weave is fine and dense it creases fairly easily, but it irons back quickly and can be worn year-round.
