Wine Pinpoint Oxford Cotton Cloth Button-Down Shirt
This is a long-sleeved button-down shirt in wine pinpoint oxford, a style whose roots go back roughly a hundred years and which Drake's treats as central to its range. Pinpoint is a finer, lighter variety of oxford with a faint lustre and a softer hand than the standard weave. The shirt is cut to a regular silhouette and made in the company's Somerset factory with single-needle seams, a floating interlining in the collar and a long, softly rolling collar point. It is intended to work across most settings, from tailoring to casual clothes.

Washed Cherry Lightweight Oxford
We chose a washed lightweight oxford in a faded cherry red because it is the closest Proper Cloth solid to the wine and dusty pink of the original, and the washing gives some of the softness that pinpoint has. We set a soft ivy button-down collar, a soft front placket, a one-button cuff, mother of pearl buttons and a curved hem to follow the original. Proper Cloth offered an angled pocket rather than a mitred flap pocket with a pleat, a barrel cuff rather than a specifically rounded one, and a one-piece yoke, so the pocket and back differ from the Drake's shirt.
A lightweight solid oxford in 100% cotton, woven from 40s yarn, in a faded cherry red. It is washed after weaving so it feels soft and worn in from the start, and it is lighter and more breathable than a heavy oxford while keeping the slightly textured, durable surface of the weave.
