Navy Pinpoint Oxford Cotton Cloth Button-Down Shirt
Drake's makes this button-down in its Somerset factory as a lighter relative of its standard oxford shirt. The cloth is pinpoint oxford, which has a finer surface, a slight sheen and a softer hand than ordinary oxford while staying hard-wearing. The shirt has a regular cut, single-needle seams and a soft, rolling collar supported by a floating interlining. It is designed to work in most settings, from casual to fairly smart.

Washed Royal Blue Lightweight Oxford
We picked a washed lightweight oxford because it comes closest to the lighter weight and soft hand of the pinpoint. Proper Cloth had no navy in this weight, so we took the nearest blue, which is brighter than the original. We set a soft Ivy button-down collar, a one-button cuff, a front placket, a single chest pocket, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons to match Drake's details. Where we could not match exactly, we used the closest available option: an angled pocket and a barrel cuff.
A solid blue cotton oxford, woven lighter and more breathable than a heavy classic oxford. It is washed so that it feels soft and broken in from the first wear. The listing calls it medium weight and gives two different yarn counts, so its exact construction is not certain. Like any oxford, it should soften further with wear and washing.
