Pink Pinpoint Oxford Cotton Cloth Button-Down Shirt
Drake's treats the oxford cloth button-down as a central piece of its range, a shape that has changed little in about a hundred years. This version uses pinpoint, a finer and lighter oxford with a soft handle and a faint sheen, in a plain pink. It is cut to a regular silhouette and made in the company's Somerset factory, with a collar built to roll softly over its buttons. It is meant to serve across dress codes, from tailoring to casual trousers.
In Proper Cloth
Weston 80s Pink Pinpoint
We chose a solid pink two-ply pinpoint from Proper Cloth's Weston range, as it matches the original in weave, colour, fibre and weight. To keep the softness of Drake's floating interlining, we set a soft ivy button-down collar and soft one-button barrel cuffs, with a front placket, mother of pearl buttons and a curved hem. Proper Cloth's options led us to an angled chest pocket and a split yoke, and the design as made does not list a box pleat.
A solid pink pinpoint woven in 100% cotton from 80s two-ply yarns, sold under Proper Cloth's Weston name. It is lightweight, finer than a heavy oxford and less lustrous than a twill or royal oxford, and it softens with wear and washing. It can be worn either pressed or unironed.

- Woven with a four-season 80s two-ply pinpoint construction, it's soft to the touch and only feels better the more it's worn and washed. With a quick iron it’ll look crisp if you want a sharp, professional look, and it also looks great without ironing for a more easy-going vibe. Finish: No Treatment.
