Blue and Yellow Dual Stripe Cotton Oxford Cloth Button-Down Shirt
Drake's treats the oxford cloth button-down as a foundation of its range, a shirt whose form has changed little in roughly a hundred years. This version sets narrow blue and yellow stripes on a white oxford ground. It is cut to a regular silhouette in Somerset, with single-needle seams, a box pleat and a soft, unfused collar that rolls naturally over its buttons. It sits as comfortably with a jacket and tie as it does open at the neck with chinos.

American Pima Sky Blue and Gold Shadow Stripe Oxford Cloth
We chose an American Pima oxford striped in sky blue and gold, the nearest Proper Cloth match to the white, blue and yellow colouring of the original. We set a soft ivy button-down collar to echo the unfused, rolling collar, with a single chest pocket, split yoke, one-button cuffs and mother of pearl buttons. The available cloth is heavier than Drake's midweight oxford and its stripe is a shadow stripe rather than a distinct dual stripe, and Proper Cloth's barrel cuff and shallow curved hem stand in for Drake's own finishes.
A dense, heavyweight oxford woven from 80s two-ply American Pima cotton, soft in hand with a matte finish. It carries a shadow stripe in sky blue and gold and is made to soften and improve with repeated washing and wear.
