Red and White Stripe Cotton Poplin Long Point Collar Shirt
Drake's makes this shirt at its own factory in Somerset, cutting a lightweight cotton poplin in a bold red and white stripe. It follows a classic English shirtmaking pattern, with a long point collar backed by a floating interlining, single-needle seams and a box pleat at the back for movement. It has a regular silhouette and can be worn with tailoring or more casually.

Stanton 120s Red Bengal Stripe
We chose a 120s two-ply cotton broadcloth in a red and white bengal stripe. Broadcloth is a smooth plain weave, so it comes closest to the clean, light poplin of the original. We kept the single-button cuff, chest pocket, front placket and mother of pearl buttons, and chose soft construction to keep the collar and cuffs pliable. Proper Cloth's soft point collar stands in for the Drake's long point. A split yoke and a shallow curved hem finish the back and hem.
Stanton is a 120s two-ply cotton broadcloth woven in Europe. It is very light, with a smooth, crisp hand and almost no surface texture. The red and white bengal stripe is a little wider than a pencil stripe. Like most broadcloths it creases more readily than a twill but irons up cleanly, and it can also be worn unironed.
