Ecru, Red and Blue Track Stripe Linen Spread Collar Shirt
Drake's made this as a summer shirt in lightweight linen. The cloth was woven in Como for the house and has a multi-colour track stripe on an ecru ground, in colours that are expected to fade with wear. The shirt keeps the house's usual shirtmaking details: a spread collar and cuffs with brushed floating interlinings, single-needle seams and mother of pearl buttons, all made in Somerset. It can be worn untucked with shorts or chinos, or with a linen suit or separates in warm weather.

Portuguese Red and Sky Wide Stripe Linen
We chose a striped plain-weave linen from a Portuguese mill. It keeps the red and blue of the original and the slightly rough texture of summer linen. The collar, cuffs, placket and buttons are set close to the Drake's shirt, with soft construction standing in for the floating interlinings. The Proper Cloth stripe is wider and simpler than Drake's multi-colour track stripe. This version was also made with a flap chest pocket where the original has a plain patch pocket.
A plain-weave linen in 15s yarn from a Portuguese mill, listed as medium weight but described as soft and light in the hand, with the usual slubby texture of linen. It has a wide stripe in red and sky blue. It creases easily and is meant to be worn relaxed rather than kept pressed.
