Pale Pink Ticking Stripe Cotton Oxford Cloth Button-Down Shirt
Drake's treats the oxford cloth button-down as one of the foundations of its range, and this version is cut and sewn at its own factory in Somerset. The shirt follows the long-established American pattern: a soft, rolling button-down collar with a brushed floating interlining, a box pleat at the back and single-needle seams. In pale pink and white ticking stripe it suits a tie and tailoring as readily as an open collar with casual clothes.

Clark Pink University Stripe Oxford Cloth
We chose a pink and white striped oxford in all cotton so the colour, weave and casual texture of the original carry over. The collar, front placket, single-button cuff, chest pocket, curved hem and mother of pearl buttons were set to match the Drake's details as closely as the options allow. Proper Cloth offers no ticking stripe in this cloth, so we took its university stripe, which is heavier than the midweight original, and the pocket is angled rather than a plain patch.
A heavy oxford in Pima cotton, woven to a 40/1 by 21/2 construction so that it has noticeable weight without feeling thick. It has evenly spaced pink and white university stripes, and the cloth is hard-wearing, softening with repeated washing.
