Pale Pink Pencil Stripe Cotton Oxford Cloth Button-Down Shirt
This is an oxford cloth button-down shirt, a style that has been worn in much the same form for around a hundred years and sits at the centre of Drake's range. It is made in the company's Somerset factory, with a regular body, single-needle seams and a soft, floating interlining that lets the collar fall into a full roll. The pale pink pencil stripe makes it a quieter alternative to plain blue or white, and it can be worn with a tie and jacket or open at the neck.

Clark Pink University Stripe Oxford Cloth
We chose a pink and white striped oxford in all cotton, because the cloth and colour matter most to this shirt. Proper Cloth's stripe here is a university stripe, which is broader than Drake's narrow pencil stripe, and the cloth is a heavy oxford rather than a midweight one, so the result is a slightly bolder and more substantial shirt. We set a soft Ivy button-down collar, a soft front placket, a single patch chest pocket, a one-button cuff, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons to follow the original's details.
A heavy oxford woven from Pima cotton, with a finer 40s warp crossed with a two-ply weft, giving a cloth that feels solid in the hand without being thick. It is striped in pink and white in a university stripe and is a durable cloth that softens with washing and wear.
