Pink Linen Spread Collar Shirt
A long-sleeved summer shirt in a plain coral pink linen, cut with a spread collar and a single chest pocket. The cloth is woven in Como for Drake's and the shirt is sewn in Somerset with the single-needle seams and mother of pearl buttons the house uses across its shirting. The idea is a hot-weather shirt whose colour softens and whose cloth creases with wear. It works untucked over shorts or chinos, or tucked in under a lightweight suit or odd jacket.

Baird McNutt Pink Irish Linen
We chose a lightweight pink Irish linen from Baird McNutt because it matches the original's solid colour, plain weave and light weight, and has the same uneven, slubby texture. We set a soft English spread collar, a front placket, a one-button cuff, a single chest pocket, a shallow curved hem and mother of pearl buttons to follow the Drake's details. Proper Cloth's pocket is an angled patch rather than a plain square patch, and its one-button cuff is a barrel cuff, so we took the closest options they offer.
A 100% linen plain weave, woven and finished by Baird McNutt in Northern Ireland, in 26s yarns. It is lightweight and soft, with the usual irregular linen slub, in a solid rosy pink. Like any linen it breathes well and creases readily in wear.
