Green Corduroy Two-Pocket Western Shirt

Drake's takes the familiar Western shirt and makes it in England with its usual single-needle construction. The cloth is a sturdy olive cotton needlecord, chosen to soften and take on character over years of wear. Pointed front yokes, a pair of double-point flap pockets and two-button barrel cuffs keep the ranch-shirt lines, and the shirt is meant to be worn casually as a heavier shirt or a light overshirt.

Ketchum Olive Cotton Corduroy

We chose an olive 100% cotton corduroy in a fine 20-wale, close to the original's needlecord in colour, rib and fibre. We set the Western front, Western yoke, Western pockets, two-button cuffs and a shallow curved hem, with quarter-inch stitching to echo the visible top-stitching. The collar on this version is a soft point rather than a dedicated Western point, and the buttons are natural corozo, which differs from the mother-of-pearl buttons shown on the Drake's listing.

A Spanish-woven 100% cotton corduroy with a fine 20-wale rib in a solid olive. It is woven to give a degree of natural stretch, has a soft, velvety surface and is described as lighter in hand than most corduroy, so it drapes more like a soft twill and suits three seasons of wear.
