Khaki Linen Camp Collar Long Sleeve Shirt
Drake's offers a long-sleeved shirt in khaki linen, a newer take on the open-collared shirt long worn in hot climates. It has a camp collar, a plain front and a straight hem, and is cut loose so that air moves freely around the body. The shirt is made in Somerset. It is meant for high summer, worn open at the neck and untucked.

Baird McNutt Olive Irish Linen
We chose a lightweight solid olive linen from Baird McNutt because it is close to the khaki green of the original in colour, weight and weave. We kept the open look with a one-piece soft collar and a French front, and matched the one-button barrel cuffs, straight hem and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth offers flap pockets with rounded flaps but no pointed flap, so we used two rounded flaps without buttons. We also built the shirt unfused throughout to keep the soft feel of the original.
The cloth is a 100% linen plain weave in a mid-tone olive green. Baird McNutt, an Irish mill on the Kellswater River, weaves, dyes and finishes it. It is lightweight and soft, woven from 26s yarns, with the uneven slubbed surface typical of linen, and like any linen it creases easily as it is worn.
