Khaki Linen Short Sleeve Camp Collar Military Shirt
This short-sleeved shirt is the warm-weather member of Drake's military-inspired shirting. It takes the purposeful details of service dress, the large flapped chest pockets and pleated back, and sets them in a soft, garment washed Japanese linen with an open camp collar. The result is meant for relaxed, everyday wear in summer, worn untucked with the collar lying open. It is made in Portugal.

Baird McNutt Olive Irish Linen
We chose a lightweight solid olive linen from Baird McNutt as the nearest match to the khaki-olive colour and dry, uneven texture of the original. We set a soft one-piece collar to give the open, rolled camp-collar look, with short sleeves, a one-piece yoke, a straight hem, flapped safari chest pockets and natural corozo buttons. Proper Cloth's specification here has a French front rather than a sewn placket, and the back pleats of the original are not part of the recorded design.
A plain-weave 100% linen woven, dyed and finished by Baird McNutt in Northern Ireland, in 26s yarn. It is light, soft and has the slubby irregularity typical of linen, in a solid mid-tone olive green that will crease readily and soften with washing.
