Khaki Linen Pintuck Military Shirt
Drake's military shirt in khaki linen takes its cues from vintage service shirts, combining utilitarian details with a relaxed casual cut. Twin flapped chest pockets, shoulder epaulettes and a pintucked front give it a functional character, while mitred single-button cuffs, a box pleat and a locker loop finish the back and sleeves. The cloth is rinse washed and lightly pressed so that it feels worn in from the start. It is made in the brand's Somerset factory and is intended as an easy, practical shirt for everyday wear.

Baird McNutt Olive Irish Linen
We chose a solid olive Irish linen from Baird McNutt because it comes closest to the original's khaki green colour and the natural slub of its linen. We matched the main military details: a soft semi-spread collar, front placket, western flap pockets, an epaulette yoke and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth offers no pintuck front, mitred cuff or rinse-washed finish, so we used a soft one-button barrel cuff and a shallow curved hem instead, and left the front plain.
A plain-weave Irish linen woven, dyed and finished by Baird McNutt, in a solid mid-tone olive green. It is lightweight and soft, with the irregular slub that is typical of linen, and it should wear cool and soften further with washing.
