Olive Ripstop Cotton Work Shirt
Drake's work shirt in olive takes its cue from workwear and field clothing, made for workshop days and weekends alike. The cloth is a Japanese ripstop cotton, stone washed so it is soft from the first wear, and the shirt is made in Portugal with single-needle seams. A spread collar, two flap pockets with a small matchbook pocket behind one of them, and a curved hem keep it practical. It can be worn open over a T-shirt or buttoned up as a light overshirt.

Japanese Olive Cotton Selvedge Twill
Proper Cloth does not offer a comparable ripstop, so we chose a Japanese olive selvedge twill that keeps the colour, the solid face and the washed, workwear character of the original. We set a soft English spread collar, soft one-button barrel cuffs, a soft front placket, rounded flap chest pockets, a shallow curved hem and natural corozo buttons to follow the Drake's details. The matchbook pocket is not among Proper Cloth's options, so the version has two plain flap pockets. A split yoke and a sleeve placket button complete the design.
A 100% cotton selvedge twill woven in Japan from 20s single-ply yarns, in a solid warm olive green. It is medium heavyweight and firm, and the made-up shirt is washed after sewing, which gives a soft, broken-in hand and slight puckering along the seams.
