Cream Cotton Oxford Cloth Long Point Collar Shirt
This is a cream oxford shirt with a long point collar in place of the usual button-down. Oxford cloth has been a staple of men's shirting for about a hundred years, and Drake's treat it as central to their range. They make this version in their Somerset factory with a regular cut, single-needle seams and a collar that is interlined but not fused. It can be worn with tailoring or with casual clothes.

Washed Off White Lightweight Oxford
We chose a washed off-white oxford to come close to the original's soft cream colour and plain, gently textured surface. The washing gives the cloth a softer, broken-in hand. We set a soft point collar, a one-button cuff, a front placket, a chest pocket, a shallow curved hem and mother of pearl buttons to follow the original. Proper Cloth has no direct equivalent of the long point collar with floating interlining, so we used its soft point collar. We also made a few construction choices that differ from Drake's, including a split yoke and an angled pocket.
This is a solid off-white oxford in 100% cotton, woven lighter than a classic heavy oxford so it breathes better in warm weather. It is washed before it is cut, so it feels soft from the start, and it should go on softening as it is worn and laundered.
