Navy Moleskin Two-Pocket Western Shirt
A navy Western shirt in Japanese cotton moleskin, made in Italy. It takes the working shirt of the American West and gives it a cleaner finish, with single-needle seams and mother of pearl buttons. The brushed cloth is chosen to soften and take on a patina over years of wear, so it suits use as an overshirt or a heavier shirt in cooler months.

Navy Low Twist Twill
Proper Cloth does not offer a cotton moleskin, so we chose a heavy navy cotton twill woven from low-twist yarns, which has a soft, slightly rough surface and comparable substance. We matched the solid dark navy and set the Western front, pockets and yoke, edge stitching and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth's collar, cuff and hem options differ from the original, so we chose a soft point collar, two-button square cuffs and a shallow curved hem.
A very heavy cotton twill in dark navy, woven from 16s three-ply yarns spun with a low twist. The looser yarn gives the cloth a soft hand and an uneven, almost tweedy surface, while the three-ply construction adds weight and durability for colder weather.
