Drake's by A. Levine Navy and White Stripe Cotton Poplin Long Point Collar Shirt
A lightweight cotton poplin shirt in navy and white stripes, made as a limited edition in Drake's Somerset factory. It is cut to a regular silhouette with single-needle seams and a long point collar built with a floating interlining, so the collar keeps its shape without stiffness. The cloth has a soft hand and a slight sheen. The shirt sits comfortably with a suit and tie or worn open-necked on its own.

Stanton Navy Bengal Stripe 120s Broadcloth
We chose a fine Italian two-ply cotton broadcloth in a navy bengal stripe. It is the closest Proper Cloth match to the original's crisp, light plain weave and its navy on white colouring. We kept the plain French front, the single-button cuff, the rounded chest patch pocket and the mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth's stripes come in a regular bengal arrangement rather than Drake's mixed stripe, so we accepted an even repeat. We used their soft point collar in place of the long point with floating interlining.
A 120s two-ply cotton broadcloth woven in Italy, very light in weight, smooth and crisp, with almost no visible texture. It is striped in navy bengal stripes on white. Like most broadcloths it creases more readily than a twill but irons up cleanly, and it can be worn unironed for a more casual look.
