Blue Cotton Flannel Two-Pocket Work Shirt
Drake's two-pocket work shirt takes the plain utility shirt and cuts it in brushed blue cotton flannel. Its two pleated chest pockets close with buttoned flaps, so small things can go in the shirt and not the trousers. The rounded cuffs and spread collar keep it easy to move in. It is made in Somerset with the same single-needle stitching as the rest of the house's shirts, and it is meant for everyday wear, outdoors as much as in town.

Thomas Mason Navy Melange Cotton and Cashmere Flannel
We chose a solid, brushed cloth in a mid weight in place of the original's plain blue flannel. The closest match on offer was a navy melange cotton and cashmere from Thomas Mason. We matched the main details: a soft spread collar, one-button cuffs, two flapped and pleated chest pockets, a curved hem and natural corozo buttons. Proper Cloth's safari pockets stand in for the original's pleated flap pockets. The cuff is a barrel style, which may not follow the original's rounded corners, and the back is made with a split yoke.
Thomas Mason weaves this cloth from 85% cotton and 15% cashmere in 60s yarns. It is a pronounced twill, lightly brushed for a smooth, soft and warm hand. The colour is a solid navy melange. It shrinks more than ordinary shirting, so it should be air dried and kept out of the tumble dryer.
