Navy and Rust Check Cotton Button-Down Shirt
This is Drake's take on the button-down shirt, a style the house treats as central to what it makes and has refined over many seasons. This version is cut in a brushed cotton twill with a large navy and rust check. It has a regular silhouette, single-needle seams and a collar with a soft, floating interlining, so the points roll rather than lie flat. It is made in Italy and is a casual shirt for cooler months, worn on its own or under knitwear and soft tailoring.

Navy and Burnt Rose Tartan Flannel
We chose a Portuguese cotton flannel with a pronounced twill and a lightly brushed face, because it comes closest to the soft, flannel-like hand of the original and pairs a navy ground with a warm red tone. We matched the soft button-down collar, the one-button barrel cuff, the front placket, the single chest pocket and the mother of pearl buttons. The tartan uses burnt rose and gold where the original has rust, ecru and green, and the cloth is lighter than Drake's midweight brushed twill. Within Proper Cloth's options we finished it with a split yoke, a shallow curved hem and an angled pocket.
A cotton flannel woven in Portugal from 50s yarns in a pronounced twill. It is dense and soft, with a lightly brushed surface. The tartan is set on a deep blue and burnt rose ground with a gold overcheck, and the cloth is lightweight, warm without being heavy.
