Indigo Denim Two-Pocket Long Point Collar Shirt
This is a casual shirt in indigo denim, cut on Drake's relaxed casual block and drawn from the long tradition of hard-wearing work shirts. It pairs a long point collar with two flapped chest pockets, single-button rounded cuffs and a curved hem, and is sewn with single-needle seams. It is intended as an everyday shirt for practical days and weekends, worn open over a T-shirt or buttoned on its own.

Portuguese Navy Brushed Chambray
We chose a dark navy Portuguese chambray because Proper Cloth's range offers it as the nearest solid, workwear-weight cotton to the indigo denim of the original. We kept the two-pocket front by choosing western pockets, and set a front placket, one-button barrel cuffs, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons to follow the original's details. Proper Cloth's collars do not include a direct equivalent of the long point, so we used the soft point collar, and the cloth is brushed, which gives a softer, slightly napped surface than plain denim.
A 100% cotton chambray woven in Portugal from single-ply 20s yarns, on the heavier side of medium weight and with a firm, structured body. It is a solid dark navy, brushed on the surface for a soft, faintly flannel-like hand and some added warmth, which suits it to cooler weather.
