Brown and Green Check Cotton Two-Pocket Long Point Collar Work Shirt
This is a work shirt in brushed cotton check, made in Italy and cut on Drake's casual block. It borrows from the utility shirt, with two flap pockets on the chest to carry small things, and adds a long point collar, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons. It is single-needle stitched, and it is meant to be worn untucked or loosely tucked on weekends, over a T-shirt or under a jacket.

Japanese Navy Green and Red Tartan Flannel
We wanted a brushed cotton flannel with a large check on a dark ground. We chose a heavier Japanese tartan whose navy and green are close to the original's olive, brown and navy. We matched the main details: a point collar, two chest pockets with flaps, one-button barrel cuffs, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth has no plain flap patch pocket like Drake's, so we used its western pockets, which keep a flap on each side of the chest but change the outline. We also used its soft point collar, the nearest it has to the long point.
A heavyweight cotton flannel woven in Japan from 30s single-ply yarn in a clearly visible twill. It is dense and soft, with a lightly brushed face, and the tartan sets red lines against a dark navy and green ground. It should wear warm without feeling stuffy.
